Christmas 2009

Christmas with Leo this year was so much fun! He actually unwrapped his presents all by his self. It was so funny to watch him tear into the paper and then go "oohh wow" when he saw what it was.

Our first Christmas was the weekend before Christmas when we went to Memphis to visit my parents and see my grandparents. Leo got a new train for his Geo track.

On the 23rd we had Christmas with Leo's cousins, Josh and Ben and Trey's Nanny. He absolutely loves playing with them!
This is a picture of Josh and Leo being funny!

Nanny gave Leo a 40 piece Thomas set......Thankfully I talked Leo into leaving it in the box until we got home. So he just looked at it THE WHOLE NIGHT!

After presents we all went to the Christmas Eve Eve service at church. Leo was horrible! He had his first communion, mainly because everyone else was getting a juice and little cracker, he thought he should too. It was so cute to watch him!!!

On Christmas Eve, I finally broke down and got Leo a haircut! This is NOT an easy process, that is why I wait until he looks like a girl to take him. Thanks to Laura who is wonderful and patient with him. My mom went with me, because Trey was hunting and there was no way I was going to wrestle him and a belly!

Christmas Eve night we went to Aunt Beth's house for dinner with my family. They all went to church and we decided not to venture to another service to be disruptive! We met them back over at our house to open presents.
Leo handed out presents very well....

He got a Thomas carrying case from his Aunt Beth

He got a follow me talking Thomas from Meme and Ops.....He was scared of him at first, but now he says "come here Thomas," and Thomas follows him around! So cute!!!!

Now for the reason I had to move my coffee table out of my living room........

Thanks Meme and Ops!!!

Santa came to see Leo...........I was VERY excited about this part of Christmas!! I felt like I was a little kid waiting on Santa, but Leo did not feel the same way!! I had to wake him up!! Not my idea of Christmas Morning. He didn't care if Santa came, every time I would ask him if he wanted to go see what Santa brought he said NO and rolled back over! CRAZY KID!!! We finally convinced him to wake up, but not without a fight!

His trike....

His drums.....

Christmas Night we went to Nana and Papa's for Christmas with Trey's family. Leo got a John Deere tractor with a trailer.....He LOVED it. He isn't so good at steering, he just pushes the peddle down and runs into whatever is in his way!!!!

This is Momma's FAVORITE Christmas present that Leo got.....

We had such a fun Christmas this year!! It is so different from the quite first Christmas Trey and I had by ourselves! Next year it will be even more exciting, with Kayley's first Christmas!!
