He's Finally Here!! Leo's Birth - 9/25/07

Leo was born on September 25th at 3:20 pm. He weighed 9 lbs and was 21 inches long.
Labor wasn't very bad at all, and I had WONDERFUL nurses. After 2 contractions I was ready for the epidural. Once they got the epidural in, I could not feel a thing!! I dialated from 4 to 10 in a little over and hour. I pushed for about 30 minutes before his head crowned. The dr. was still at her house so we waited for about 20 minutes, with his head crowned, for her to get to the hospital. She got their at 3:15 and he came at 3:20. It was the most amazing moment!!! Trey cut the umbilical cord and watched him as they cleaned him up. They allowed the whole family to come to the room , for about an hour after he was born. Everyone got a look at him before they took him to the nursery.

After they took Leo to the nursery, all the excitement was over there. So off everyone went to Famous Daves for dinner, while I ate hospital food.
Beth and Trey stayed behind with me. They brought Leo back, and Aunt Beth was the first to hold the little man. Although it didn't last long, 5 minutes later Nurse Sandra came in to get me out of the bed and into the bathroom. So the wonderful sister I have, gave Leo to Trey and helped me in the bathroom where I passed out. Needless to say, I didn't not feel the best the rest of the night.

After all the excitement with me passing out was over, everyone else showed back up for their turn to hold Leo.
Here are Pops and Grammy with the Man!!!!

1 Year Anniversary!!!

We have been married for a year!!! Time flies, I don't feel like it was a year ago!!!!!
Our cake......Not as good as it was last year!!! It was still purple inside!
Trey wondered why we didn't freeze his cake that Ma made (the only cake he eats!!!)
We have been married 52 weeks.....29 of those weeks, I've been pregnant...

Trey took me to the Melting Pot! It was DELICIOUS!!!!! He had flowers and a card there for me.

Leo's Room

We have started Leo's Room!!!!!

Trey painted three walls surfer blue, and the other wall Beth and I painted circles to match the fabric of his bedding. Trey finished painting the baseboards last night. We will be getting carpet on July 2nd!

4d Ultrasound - June 9th.

Here are some pictures from the 4d ultrasound. Leo was sleeping through the whole thing...He did not move around much. We got some good pictures of his face. We will be going back for another session on July 14th. Maybe I will eat some chocolate before the next one, so he will be awake!

This is one of the only picture we got of his full face.

His mouth is opened.

Leo sleeping! Hopefully he looks like this when we bring him home!
